13 year old girl and ACL surgery

My 13 year daughter had a complete tear of her ACL a month ago while doing an aerial (a cartwheel with no hands). The surgery was done on Tuesday by an pediatric orthopedic surgeon using a newer surgery to not disrupt her growth plates (physeal sparing).

He used a small piece of her own hamstring to reconstruct the ACL. She is a competitive dancer and will need complete and even hyper extension of her leg again. I know this is a long and painful recovery and I've read tons of information.

Anyone out there have a dancer who has had this type of surgery done and how long if ever did to get their strength and flexibility back? Any helpful advice or insight would be appreciated.
