Purely a guess, and something that I would like. Raise up that one panel and there is a wet bar behind it. Or maybe just a bar, or maybe a wine rack, or maybe one of those leopards.

The big panel obviously slides up - is there a tv behind it?

The sliding cabinet door is too obvious so I would think that would not be it. It does look as if both units move. There is space at the bottom of them. They also look quite heavy! The one on the right looks as if it could be a murphy bed but also looks like it would open into a passage way. Maybe the sliding cabinet door opens a bar and then the side unit is a door to the wine cellar/liquor closet. That recessed corner space is housing something.

All great ideas, but no, it's an office space. I actually like this idea a lot. Especially the lifting panel... you could hide a boat-load of stuff back there when company comes unexpectedly. I don't know, but I assume there's storage in the seat too. Or at least I would.

I guess you don't have much work to do other than something on the computer that has little to no paper involved! The seating doesn't look very comfortable either so it would have to be fairly quick.

I agree. That seat needs to be curvier to be more comfortable. Hurts my back looking at it!

I looked at a house with the whole basement done up like this....nobody wanted it! It would have been a complete tear out. I LOVE looking at the pics tho! It's ahead of it's time.

GREAT idea, with a little tweaking for personal preferences. Seating, paper storage, etc.

Where's the printer go? I could not sit there for even a short time it's just poorly configured. For me the only positive possibly is that you can hide it. What a hassle though if you actually use your office much. Thumbs down.
