It looks to me that, because of the side of the case, the light would have to swing out and around, at which point it would be in front of the pillows, not next to or behind your head where you'd want it to, say, read in bed....See MoreHidden home decor Monday style
Comments (19)There is something going on with that frame on the wall above the couch. There is a handle at top center of the frame, and 4 hinges along the bottom edge of the frame. Maybe this thing opens to reveal something else. It could be a serving shelf, but I think it swings all the way down to reveal a projector, or entertainment center, or opens to a room on the other side of the wall, maybe the kitchen. The frame is deeply set into the wall, about the depth of a 2 x 4. This is no ordinary picture frame....See MoreTuesday hidden home decor.
Comments (8)I think the uncentered middle hinge was so that it would be lower than the bottom shelf, so that I could use longer screws with out the fear that they'd poke through the side of the shelf and be visible. I realized that these are older pictures, and that since then I cut a hole in the lower part of the back panel and installed a door there so I have hidden storage inside my hidden storage....See MoreDakota
