Spots appearing on Lantana leaves.

Bought two pretty lantanas a week or so ago. Not very experienced with them other than I hear they are hardy heat/drought tolerant and pretty easy to grow in the south. My two were very healthy at purchase. Already I'm seeing this on some of the leaves (sorry it's a bit out of focus). No visible signs of spider mites or other pests on the plants that I can see. Started out on one of the plants and is now moving in on the other one as well. Any thoughts? Is this likely just "Leaf Spot" from my water sprinkle system splattering the plants every 3rd day? Right now, I'm just removing leafs and discarding in trashcan. New shoots/leaves are coming out healthy so far.

That looks like a type of leaf miner - I believe it's called 'blotch'. It is the larvae of a type of fly that tunnels between the upper & lower epidermis of the leaves I get them on lantanas & basil here.

Looks like Entomosporium leafspot. It's common on lantana in sites where it gets excess moisture on the leaves -- e.g. rain; dew; overhead irrigation; and/or rain. Another inciting factor is insufficient light. Many times, the problem is short-lived. Other times not so. To tell the truth, when I grew lantana while living in Long Beach, I cut lantana back hard every spring. Takes care of the leggy look and gives a respite from the leaf disease likely to show up in spring. So, bottom line: I suggest you begin by cutting the plant back. Hard! Then watch the new growth.

Black spots are dirt. I should mention its only on the new cucumbers I transferred, not the ones already in the bed. They were already hardened off and outside, just in small containers.

I put some wood mulch around the one in particular, actually. I NEVER water from above. I actually hand water everything using a handheld gentle shower arm and directly onto the soil/mulch. There are only two plants that have this issue and they were not next to eachother. I have a very healthy and rapidly growing Krim that was next to the one in the pictures that has no spots, bad leaves, etc... anywhere. I would think if it was from watering or the rain that it would be on several/many plants. I have a total of 60 tomato plants and two have spots on the fruit and three have/had what appears to be septoria leaf.

Sounds like this plant is already suffering from being overwatered. You'll need to get it out of the pot. Some people recommend setting it on newspaper but in this case, if it were mine, I'd get as much of the soil off as possible and see just how bad the rot has become. Is it just the roots? Is it some or all of them? Has it spread to the stem? The plants will fare better cut off from rot than allowed to stay wet/vascularly connected to the rot. Once it spreads, it is the equivalent to septicemia in people. Very hard to save a plant once it reaches that point.

I've seen the damage leaf miners do on tomato plants but this looks so different to me. That's why I thought this might be a fungal or bacterial disease. Leaf miners don't usually leave the black centers like this at early infestation, just their tunneling "trails". But you might be right.

Well, my sprinklers have run 2 times since my inquiry and no new spots have appeared. Both plants have lots of new blooms, so I'm not going to worry. Maybe whatever it is won't recur and if it does, I'll just remove and destroy the affected leaves.
