Any idea what decorating camouflage is going on here?

(Repost after I realized the first pic included the answer! Hope not too many saw it.)

Decorating camouflage? Dust! With that many books and those wonderful vases on the top shelf, the has to be dust hidden everywhere!

After your hint I thought it was a camera (like Africam). Before that I was convinced it was a deer (red circle), and I do think the thing in the blue circle looks like a crouching kangaroo. Don't know why anyone would want to wear a sniper costume for Halloween.

Yes, Snookums2, that's the bird I saw. It does look like a frog in the upper left, too. I think the long legs are connected to a lizard of some sort, the body is vertical above the legs. You can barely make out his head just right of your green circle. Rusty

Well, finally! Can see it on my PC. Just cannot find it on the laptop. On the bigger screen the antlers jumped out at me. I use the laptop most of the time and every few days check out the mail on the tabletop. Guess I will have to start looking for the hidden creatures in here. It it is a relief to see what others see!

What a killer library! It has to do with the sideboard/bar/storage unit in the front. It's even cut out to fit around the shelving.

I don't know what is hidden; but I love what's on display. Books, books and books stored on a bookshelf! Wonderful. I could transport this to any room in my house right now!

I agree with mimi. The TV is hidden in the dresser. The bookcases are there to throw us off.

oh, okay. It's probably one of those tv's that raises up from inside the cabinet.

I don't know, I think the chest looks odd there. I would rather have a tv or simply have a tv chest some place else.

The chest appears rather awkward to me. It might hold a TV but I think a TV would have looked better installed within the bookcase.

May be a sort of Murphy Bed inside that chest, or even, a long pull out table - either library style or dining style.
