Are (true) Pre-Washes becoming extinct in NEW washers?

Now of course I've noticed that the new line of Electrolux washers no longer offer a true Pre-Wash (cool water fill, tumble X amount of minutes, drain, spin, go into main wash cycle).

Is this becoming the norm? The only thing it's saving is a few gallons of water (if at that), since no heated water is used for Pre-Washes.

I don't think I could purchase a new washer without one (even though you could start a cycle, stop/cancel it, then start another cycle but really who wants to do that).

I don't use the Pre-Wash all that often but I do use it and find it annoying to say the least that it's being omitted from newer machines.

I haven't checked to see of any other manufactures still have an option to Pre-Wash.

Does every one here have a Pre-Wash option? Do you use it? Do you care if your washer didn't have it?
