The light is Hubbardton Forge, The rug is an 8 x 10 charcoal sisal , 225.00 There's a lot of junk in tables, with finishes that will not hold up. .............switch the table last. Comments (18)Hi Wanda- Please, please do not buy chairs from the Internet. Chairs have to be comfortable and sturdy and made to last and support even big people. You are much better off going to charity stores craigslist and tag sales looking for sets of chairs made of solid wood and recovering the seat cushions and painting the wood. These stores have so many of these sets now! It is so easy to cover a chair seat and not difficult to learn how to paint the wood or you can leave the wood the way it is or just sand and varnish it....See MoreWhat type of chairs would update this traditional vintage dining room?

This photo another option of keeping chairs wood and blue upholstery. If you want to colour to hutch, you could go two ways Adding blue/white china or you can add blue behind your white dishes. It’s easy to do by adding fabric/paint or wallpaper to thin plywood and adhere with command strips. In seeing your added photos I think your two chairs would look good facing each other e we it’s the table between them with a chess or checker board on it....See Moreplease help with new dining room chairs
