Whirlpool Cabrio Balance Rings balance problem
Comments (44)I have whirlpool cabrio having same issue unbalance on spin cycle. 1st i replaced suspension rods.....still unbalanced. 2nd change out bearings and shaft....still unbalanced. 3rd changed out motor stator.....still unbalanced. 4th changed out sensor.....still unbalanced. Did some research, and what i found is some washers will have a counter balance ring located on top of basket. It is filled about half way with liquid and factory seal. Some have a removable counter balance ring and some models are permanently attached to stainless steel tub. Our model has the permanently attached ring. and has liquid in it. The bottom part of the basket is another plastic molded ring, and has water in it. I understood the the water in the top ring ,but didn't understand water in the bottom ring. I did some research and found that many different manufacturers of washing machines only had a counter balance ring located on the top of washer and done on bottom........was there suppose to be water in the bottom ??? Did more researching and found a video that i guy, like myself with the same issues and changed out the same parts and still had unbalance issues. He had water in the bottom plastic ,and he drilled where the two mold plugs were and drain out water and reseal holes.........no more issues! So I said what do I have to lose, and did the same thing......RESULTS NO UNBALANCE!...See MoreBalanced bed
Comments (2)Going by the pictures you've shown, you're good at making hosta beds. I'll look forward to seeing this one as it comes together. I'd plant with the mature size in mind and put something tall in between the future big hostas in the back. Foxgloves would work well and be easy to pull out any new seedlings once the large hostas are filling in. They would give color earlier in the season. Tall Lilies would give color later in the season, and you could dig them up and move them later on when the large hostas need that space....See MoreAbout the ever popular New Balance 608s, men or husband's here wear it
Comments (16)arkansasgirl; I think that you have run into a corporate mouthpiece who is not listening to customer's complaints and is shedding the problem by claiming that the customer misused the product. That person may not know much about their manufacturing process other than what their management has fed them. You have the opposite experience with the product, and you have a direct user comparison of the newer version to the older one. In short, the newer version came apart with everyday use whereas the older ones did not. It is true that you hubby gives his shoes high use, but those should fail by wearing out, not by falling apart. By the way, I had a similar failure in a winter boot. Those were very comfortable and warm, but the sole parted company with the uppers after one month of use. There was very little wear. It was a simple case of de-bonding. My belief was the the over-mold process employed was poorly understood by the manufacturer. Also, the joint design was poor. That failure could have put my foot in serious jeopardy of frost bite if I had been caught away from shelter when the sole came loose. Admittedly, it was a cheap mail order offering, but that is not an excuse for this kind of failure. There are a number of factors that must be met to successfully bond two materials. Ignore these is to invite failure. It is sad when a great appearing product fails due to a misapplication of materials and processes. Until that is corrected, that product is doomed....See MoreNew Balance Assembled USA vs. Made USA
Comments (18)Actually...where a shoe is made does make a lot of difference in fit. The USA uses a standard last that most of us have worn since childhood. Third world countries and other locations have slightly different lasts that make a world of difference when you try on the shoe. I love shoes made in South America because their last is slightly wider and more squared than USA lasts. I have a wider foot that adapts to the South American last with great joy. Also...length measurements are difficult in equivalency accuracy. I wear a size 7.5 medium. According to Sketcher's manufacturer...that's a European 37.5 ...which is the formula they use in their manufacturing process but my foot disagrees with this equivalent. For my foot, there's toe room in my 7.5 shoes where there's none in the 37.5. It doesn't sound like a big deal until you've been exercising or walking a long distance and your feet begin to swell. Then that toe room is precious. These aforementioned differences may be subtle but they're important nonetheless. For some unknown reason, the New Balance walking shoe last/measurement has changed dramatically in the last few years. I used to be able to wear their footwear without issue. Now, I need to go up a half size to achieve some comfort. Consequently, my own personal decision is that I no longer buy their products. I no longer have the availability of store shopping for shoes and playing a fit guessing game with shoes ordered over the internet is just not my cup of tea....See Morekpyeatt
