Comments (7)No actual bear photos, except from zoos. Although at one point we had a bear on our front deck, and at another point our neighbor shot a bear that was repeated raiding his trash cans. Comments (11)yummm me too Glenda! Unfortunately they closed the one about a mile from my house and it was always busy as are all of them. Now we rarely go. The seafood fondeaux in the appetizers is my favorite thing it is served with garlic bread points to sop up that amazing creamy cheezy sauce. I sure miss that. Comments (11)Uptown Gal - Thanks for asking. Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria) belongs to the Family: Lythraceae - is aggressive and invasive. Gooseneck loosestrife (Lysimachia clethroides) Family: Primulaceae - is aggressive and can choke out other perennials. It is useful in less than ideal conditions or naturalized. My patch is contained by a wall and walkway and has not been a problem. The showy flowers are pest free, attract butterflies,and make excellent cut flowers....See More
