DOT;The therapist had told me we would really get down to therapy after the pins and rod comes out,and its going to be very painful.I almost went by his office just to tell himI DON'T HAVE TO HAVE MORE THERAPY,but, I just wanted to get home.Yes,I have found out,I can't do as much as I use to be able to do.The age,and bad back problems slows you down alot (77) now.My daughter has been taking me to the Dr and Therapy,and when she brought me home yesterday,she says now MOTHER,YOU HAVE A EXCELLANT REPORT,BUT DON'T YOU DARE GO OUT AND START WORKING IN THEM FLOWERS, THEY WILL WAIT SOME MORE,"DO YOU HEAR ME?" I told her yes,I do hear you,and will not do some thing to break it again.She says she thinks I can go back to driving again,will be ok.Hehehe,I been driving if I need to go after some thing,she just didn't know it.Power stearing makes it very easy. Dear Friends, The tree in this thread grew from a cutting I brought back from Maui about 8 years ago. I've kept it alive and reasonably well even in this relatively-cold clime, though it has been plagued, each winter, by spider mites. Due to the climate and the mites, it has only bloomed once, long ago. Then last year the branch was broken that gave rise to this thread and the things I've learned here have helped me make my plumeria a much happier plant. The result is that it is blooming! In addition, I have two cuttings, both of which are putting out new leaf spikes (though I've seen no roots yet and am following directions until I do). So I wanted to share them with you, who have done so much to help make it happen. Thanks again for your time and energy and knowledge and encouragement! If ever we should meet, I shall pour a glass of my homemade pineapple mead for you! Thanks Again and Aloha!

My dad hasn't been able to log in and post for over a week, and he's getting pretty frustrated! He emailed gardenweb but they didn't respond yet. What a trooper! Hope you are getting to rest today. Your mention of the Mine Shaft Tavern brought back memories of a trip we had to NM. We had always taken the interstate from ABQ to Santa Fe. I decided I wanted to take the Turquoise Trail and stop at the Mine Shaft Tavern for lunch. DH’s sister and her husband were traveling with us. She was not at all adventuresome and when I told her we were going to a biker bar for lunch, she got really anxious. It was, of course, a perfectly nice place with perfectly nice people and if memory serves me correctly, they had pretty good burgers, too!
