Update on my arm... it's not broken!

Woo hoo. Good news. Nothing showed up on the xrays, although the doctor (who was beyond cute by the way) said it could be a hairline fracture that only shows up after it has healed.

I go back in 4 weeks to re-xray but take anti-inflamatory medications and try to move it more in the meantime.

Thanks for all your great advice.

I've lost tops of tomato plants in the past, and what happens with indeterminates is that one of your larger laterals will take over as the primary branch. Determinates just get bushier. Yes, MamaP, I am assuming it uses the same amount of water as my old one, but it is 2 years younger. It is a typical compact European machine, it has no computer just a little control board of resisters and capacitors, a mechanical timer and three different types of cycles. What is different is I can set it to the type of wash such as Super Wash (heated to 140) and then pick the spin and that is it. No way to turn the timer ahead to the rinse etc. I will adjust to that. And if it doesn't work out my friend can use the parts to replace anything I want on my machine, like the boot, pump etc..

That's good news. I have no medical advice for you, but I have some personal advice: Can you MILK this one a little bit until you know for sure it's not a fracture? :)
