May I ask why you're angling the area on either side of the foyer? Seems to make more problems than it's worth including making the bedroom and office less functional. While it looks good on paper, in reality it's two long hallways to lead to anything and creates a lot a wasted space.

The previous plan had two bedrooms on the right side close to the garage. Once my husband realized the cost he removed them and pushed the garage in. Where the current bedroom issue is located, there was a parlor that was open to the foyer. My husband wants an open concept and I don't want visitors that are not friends or family to see through my house from the front door. There are two bedrooms on the lower level. I probably asked for help way too late, as the footers are in and the ICF walls are halfway up. So the outside walls cannot change, but I do have a small window of time for the inside as framing will not start for a while. Any suggestions and were you able to enlarge it?

Can you flip the bedroom and bathroom and move the door? I just moved things around with paint, so all dimensions are guesses. i don't see how a walk-in closet would fit based on the scale of everything else.

Or maybe just moving the door and extending the closet would be enough. Didn't look like enough room for a walk-in, but again, just guesses without real dimensions.

I'd love to see the elevations of this plan! And, I'm sure some of the experts can give you some ideas on that bedroom.

The big problem is that anything that solves the issue of going around the corner to the bedroom without putting the doorway in a straight shot to be viewed from the front hallway or all the way through the house from the sunroom at the back is that it will screw up the balanced window placement on each side of the front door, and/or will put your daughter's bathroom on front and center display. I think the easiest thing might be to tell your daughter it's done and she needs to suck it up.

A recent comment about the doorway being so close to the entry of the room is cause for worry, especially if I have overnight guests. I am leaning towards moving the door to the angle after the foyer area. That area used to open up to the foyer the as a parlor (more for my husband's visitors who were not family or friends). I want separation and privacy. I want the sight lines not to be on the door, especially from the main house. Would it look right to recess the doorway a little on that wall?

Your are correct, it was a rushed after thought. Once my husband reduced the house, he was looking for a place to have her room on the same floor. The second office next to the master is for me, so I don't have my bills and paperwork out in the open (that darn open concept). It will also serve as a nursery when necessary. I want hers away from mine for "privacy", I'm sure you know what I mean. aa62579's idea is great and thanks to all.

Bonus room structurally will be done. However, the room is future. Stairs - Yes, they do. I haven't convince my husband to take one out one since the plan changed.
