Stacked cabinets - 39" uppers with 24" stacks above ok?

I've been working with a builder and trying to finalize a kitchen layout. We want to do stacked cabinets on top of the uppers to bring the cabinets to the ceiling (Ceiling is 10'3"). The builder suggested 39" cabinets with 24" stacked above and around 6" of crown molding to bring it to the ceiling.

We're concerned that the 24" cabinets above will look too big in comparison to the uppers. We originally wanted 42" with 21" stacked, but unfortunately the cabinet maker doesn't make a glass front cabinet that is 21" high, only 18" or 24"

One other option is 42" + 18" and about 9" of crown. Would that be too much crown?

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts as this one is driving us crazy!
