What was a probable cause of
this leak looking mess on my log splitter?
I normally use it where I store it vs rolling it out. Not moving helped conceal the mess I happened
to spot. I cleaned the oily looking
fitting knowing I would easily find the leak when I applied force splitting a
log. I have not found a source at 1,500 –
2,000 PSI of force against a stop block.
I feel it will take a job of splitting a load of wood or some and
checking constantly vs after 5 years.

The mess on the concrete and
filter’s plumbing is what caught my eye cleaning the dead corner before adding
the tarp. There was no oil on the bottom
of the filter. I have never felt any heat related to fluid to possibly cause
condensation. I have seen a car sweet
while parked in the S/W open corner.
