Oh, man. I wish I could grow vandas (too hot & dry in SoCal--would take a lot of fussing). Did you grow that plant, Annie Deighnaugh? Really nice. caflowerluver, that is a really charming rose! I normally don't go for such wild colors, but the cluster of flowers is such an interesting study of the variance between individual blooms. Or maybe I'm just getting bolder as I age. My husband and I took a weekend trip to Boise, Idaho in 2012. While there we visited a rose garden. After walking the entire garden, and admiring many, we each named our favorite. I thought it was odd that out of all of the choices, we both chose the same rose. Strike It Rich

unfortunately it doesn't drain well. This is under the house, on the far south west side. Long army crawl to get there... and I had to dig the trap out, to make that picture. I called the home warranty people and should have a plumber out before long. I am tired of trying to let the machine drain a pipe load at the time.

At the Long Horn Museum. The entire ceiling(this is the ceiling) and some of the walls were covered with Texas Long Horn skulls. It was an awesome place.
