Love all pics as usual. Murrysmom, what a nice gift you choose for yourself. I had one years ago that looked like a bunch of concord grapes. Don't remember where I got it, didn't drink tea, so gave it to a stranger that displayed her fabulous tea pot collection at the library. Expect your 'other' gift to yourself in the mail tomorrow.

Atop Mauna Kea. Some were wanting to build another observatory there, but the uproar from the locals was too much. It is windy and desolate up there.

Spring migrants are wandering through the area; been enjoying the many warblers, grosbeak, and less common birds, such as Swainson's thrushes. Even this western tanager has been hanging around for the past few days. Not my best photograph ever, as I had to take it quickly from some distance away, out of an upstairs window. Put I think he is a beautiful bird, even a bit fuzzy. ;)
