OT- @ caseynfld - My son was in St. John's for the weekend and on Friday did an Iceberg tour. He saw 2 of them but also said that the waves were pretty big producing a pretty rough tour with some people getting seasick.

He also went to Cape Spear and to where Terry Fox started his across Canada run.

He also mentioned how far away Newfoundland is, but then we live in Vancouver. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing his pictures but won't seem them until the weekend.

Thanks, goldblush!! as we were flying over it, i was wondering what it was and where we were. i said to DH, the pilot should tell you these things!! when we flew over the grand canyon, he did announce it!! it really was a sight to see!!
