Jasdip we've had a very hot summer which we are all loving. Highs of 30 in the day (not all days, but several and it's usually above 23 in the day) and very little rain. Lawns are turning brown - a downside to all the hot temps. It's unusual for us here in eastern Newfoundland to have such warm temperatures (western and central Newfoundland always have warmer summer temps than we do). I think we've only had rain 1 afternoon in the past two and a half weeks!

Nathan decided to try the pedal bike Allison just outgrew. It is basic, with coaster brakes.

He was in the Navy. His name was William, and one of the jokes he (reportedly) would often tell is that when the commanders on the the ship would give the order "Fire at Will" he would dive for cover. I can see a strong resemblance between him and my uncle Joe, the youngest of his children.
