Comments (11)Lynn, I'm a little less enthusiastic about vultures. Last year I did a grueling 8 mile hike through dense brush laden with poison oak, huge boulders and ticks. Took me 9 hours. As I was reaching the end I looked up at a telephone pole in the parking lot there was a vulture holding a sign, you know, the kind you see people holding at airports, that had my name on it. Comments (8)The restaurant "Passion on the Beach" at the Amsterdam Hotel in Aruba. One must get there early (if you don't have a reservation). As the sun sets, you are on the west side of the island, you get a great view. When it is dark, it is difficult to see the menu unless they provide one with a back-lit LED light. Comments (13)When I saw the pic of the white dog playing in the snow, it reminded me of a series of pictures indicating the snow the Canadians get used to that one of the old guys that meet for coffee at one church brought to pass around last Thursday, to put a smile or two on our faces. And we had it cold, about 15 degrees F. over the weekend, with snow and wind to push it around. When I looked out the bathroom window one morning, lots of snowflakes were going by, with their line of travel being just slightly below horizontal at their point of departure than it was at their entry point.
