How are the temps this summer Casey?? Is it still coolish during the day?

A month ago we and the two couples we shared our dinner table with on a two week cruise to Alaska all met at the San Pedro Fish Market (next to where the ship departed) and had a reunion lunch.

You walk through a room of fish and shellfish on ice, choose what you want to eat. They weight it, asking you how you want it cooked and what sides you want with it. It was delicious. This is one of the items on the menu.

Jasdip we've had a very hot summer which we are all loving. Highs of 30 in the day (not all days, but several and it's usually above 23 in the day) and very little rain. Lawns are turning brown - a downside to all the hot temps.

It's unusual for us here in eastern Newfoundland to have such warm temperatures (western and central Newfoundland always have warmer summer temps than we do). I think we've only had rain 1 afternoon in the past two and a half weeks!
