Hey Josh, I have been been using Pro-Tekt with my Foliage Pro all winter and i can say that my plants have definately been happier than in the past... When i take my rain water and place it in my watering cans, i add the Pro Tekt first to all of the water and then stir it in. (1/4 tsp per gallon) Then i go back and add my Foliage Pro to the water. I keep it upstairs and let it warm to room temperature and then water. The combination of the two will definately help your plants and im so happy to have found my Pro Tekt. My Hydroponics dealer had to order it for me. I still can't find or he wont (says he cant..) order it for me. He looked it up and says its not available. Hmm? I still order my Foliage Pro from Ebay. budget blinds sells knock off hunter douglas blinds which hunter douglas owns. they send a person out that measures and installs for 99 dollars. the warranty includes 5 years, maybe 7 but offers a lifetime free replacement no questions asked for EACH blind. my guy showed me hanging options that saved me tons of money! example, using one blind over 3 windows in an area it looked fine to do! also, a side stack is "upgrade" for many patio doors. with his version of HD, it is less to side stack. i compared to On line, 3 day, costco of graber...this warranty is good and better than others. the product reflects and allows patented styles of HD. like luminette. i have a limits on colors it seems. so this line is enlightened style. Yelp reviews are awesome for budget blinds. basically, I am getting luminette and silhouette knock off blinds that tax installed 5200.00. This at the drapery store that sells hunter douglas is about 9800 with tax. my decorator told me that this drapery store was 30 less than j penny for her clients. My bottom line truth is that budget blinds offers a value that includes a person, a warranty and look for half the cost and is slightly less or more than doing the online measure yourself. hope this helps. lord knows i did the work to figure this out. fyi, 3 day has a bit pushy style but they seem to have a rollershade option that prices out well if you like their valance which to many looks better than cassette valance.

Ooh, the last pic in kswl2's post at 3.55pm on Thursday is of Gold Hill, Shaftesbury, Dorset - five minutes drive from our last house on the Wiltshire side of the Wilts/Dorset border - see attached pic. For those that are familiar with the English tv ad for Hovis bread a few years back, Gold Hill was the location used.....although most English viewers apparently believed the street was much further north in Yorkshire ;) Loving all these quintessentially English village views ladies! Rory, Your notion of the beads being less charged is essentially correct. The higher the salt dose, the higher the portion of ion exchange sites on each resin bead that get converted back to the sodium form. As hard water flows through the resin bed, the chance of passing close enough to a sodium ion are higher if there are more of them available. Technically, absolute zero hardness is not possible with a single stage softener. However, hardness bleed is very low. The lower the regen salt dose, the more hardness bleed you will get. Unless you go to extremes, that bleed will remain well below 1 gpg, even for cheaply-made resins. The resin you have will keep hardness bleed below 1 ppm even at ridiculously low salt dosages. Some folks can feel a slight difference in the water with 1 ppm of hardness, but most won't notice. There is a trade-off between salt efficiency and water efficiency. If you chart them, the sweet spot where the two cross is at a salt dose of 6 lb/cu ft. As you lower salt dose, you will use less salt, but a bit more water and a bit more wear on the softener. For your purposes, on an annual basis, the difference between a dose of 4.5 and a dose of 8 is 216 lb salt and 500 gallons of water, about 9 regen cycles. You will need to weigh those items and decide for yourself. Regardless of what you choose to do with regard to salt dose, your day override should be the same. Day override has everything to do with water conditions, and should not be used to set hardness capacity. Setting the day override equal to the time you expect from the capacity defeats the purpose of the dual control of a correctly programmed softener. I don't prefer to cut it thin - I give people what they ask for (unless they ask for impossible things or are rude) rather than what I might prefer.
