Yes, --and each family or couple has it's idea of what makes a location work for them. Some want absolute privacy. Some want no children in the neighborhood like Sun CIty Az. Some want a view of the city, some want a view of the landscape. Some want to be perched up, others prefer the valley bottom. Some want lots of land. Some want little to none. Others want a bit, but not too much land. Some want great schools. Some want HOA, Some Do Not!! Some want to bike to the grocery store. Some want the land flat for those bicycles. Some want to be able to unfurl their dirt bikes and take off from the back yard. Some want a dog park near by. I could go on forever, Architecture=BD+C, lol. It Depends (is an understatement). Location Location Location? Give me a swimming pool amenity in my community, with separate hours for adults, lol.

Great article! Very informative to some of the public, especially those that think Zillow is actually valuable.

Zillow does a horrible job of estimating values. I have two houses and it is off by about $100K on each of them - one is too high and one is too low. Trulia did a much better job, but now that Zillow has bought them, who knows which algorithm they will use.
