Adenium leaves turned yellow and all fall off
Comments (6)It could be overwatering? With Adeniums based on where you reside (climate) and conditions made available. This is a process in which adeniums go through (loss of leaves, dormancy). Especially during this time of year, with lower light levels and temps. You are the only one that will know whether you have overwatered. Do not know that active ingredients in your ant killer and am not informed enough to give an answer on this. As tapla mentioned, with information given. Can make it a difficult to pin point. If you search at the bottom of the Adenium forum thread there is a bar in which you can search out most queries. The information and articles that Tapla has created about soil, water retention and such are very helpful and worth a read. We are fortunate to have very knowledgeable people here, so please check these out. Comments (7)What looks to be 'salt grains' is a sign of tomato psyllids. Are you in Calif. by any chance? "The tomato psyllid (Bactericerca cockerelli) has a wide range of acceptable hosts, including species in twenty plant families. It prefers to feed on tomato, potato, pepper, eggplant, and other plants in the night shade or solanaceae family. The name tomato psyllid is commonly used, but the pest is also known as potato psyllid when it feeds on potatoes. The psyllid uses its piercing mouth parts to extract plant juices from foliage. Excess sugar which the insect ingests, is excreted as small waxy beads of psyllid sugar (resembling granulated sugar)." You can googles psyllids on tomatoes. I don't think there is a recommended control yet....See MoreSpecies Adenium
Comments (13)I know I am posting this really late. I found swazicum seeds on Adeniumseeds I emailed them to see if they have any in stock. I also love arabicums and have several varieties growing from seed right now. I am new to Adeniums and want all of them too. I have an A. multiflorum, I have a Nova Tanzania, I have several types of arabicum, I am looking for crispum seeds though. where did you find yours? This morning I bought some multiflorum seeds online. They are coming from the Netherlands though. I hope whoever sends them hides them in something. Nothing was ever mentioned about a certificate to get them into the states. I am very impressed with the people growing in northern Europe because of the climate. They do an excellent job at growing plants! The seeds also had good reviews! I am going to check out aridlands and try to get a swazicum seedling an obesum seedling, and Boehmainum for spring. I don't have a straight somalense or Socotranum yet. I had some obesums but they were shipped in soil and rotted a couple days after I got them. So I am nervous about getting the obesum and the somalense. Do you think the Somalense is more hardy than the obesum temp. wise? I do have some arabicum x socotranum seedlings at least I am under the impression that, that is what the Black Pearl is. I am wondering if the A. Olefolium has anything to do with how Ko makes his Mini plants....See Morehow can i identify all varieties of adeniums
