Accidentally applied grass & weed killer

It was my bad not reading the label carefully.
I accidentally applied Compare-N-Save Concentrate Grass and Weed Killer, 41-Percent
Glyphosate all over the lawn (Bermuda) 10 minutes ago. My intention was only to kill weeds. What should I do to keep the grass unharmed?

It'll come back. Many have tried to kill Bermuda this way without success

You might try watering it very heavy to wash it off the grass leaves, but I'm afraid you will have to reseed or put down sod. You will have to wait to put down new.

If you had time to post this before watering, it might be too late. Where are you and how green was your grass? I spot treated my yard this year with the exact same product thinking my Bermuda was dormant. Evidently it wasn't and there was definite damage. Unreal how fast my Bermuda filled in with more than normal amounts of fertilizer. My advice would be to see how bad the damage is and see if you think you have enough green left where you can get it to spread with fertilizer. Being you sprayed the whole yard, I'm not optimistic about it. Sorry.

I've found that Brush-B-Gone works on ground ivy without killing the grass - although your grass may turn somewhat yellow for a while. Further, fertilizer with boron in it helps to control the stuff. Pulling is great therapy. Using all three methods, I've managed to get the beast under control in an area that was once almost total ground ivy. Unfortunately, I'm beginning to find it in areas in my field and in the woodlands. The woodlands stuff is easy to pull; the field ground ivy gets a dose of BBG. P.S. BBG also works well on garlic mustard.

Depnding on rainfall, or watering, that liquid will be washed into the groundwater faster than granules would be so your soil would be ready for reseeding sooner. That information should be on the label, otherwise wait 4 to 6 weeks before doing so.

Nothing I can find tells me that this would be effective on Bermuda Grass although the 2, 4, D, and Dicamba are as effective as any other product containing the same materials. Keep in mind that most of these are classified as known carcinogens in humans, and that some studies indicate there are genetic changes in soil biota where these products are used that may indicate the potential for genetic changes in humans.

Post-emergent herbicides used to kill broad-leaf weeds are also very dangerous for roses. Such herbicides commonly contain 2,4-D, triclopyr or dicamba." @Sherry_7bAL. After posting the question, I went out immediately for watering.

@sherm1082. I am outside of Charlotte, and grass was green. I will try to put down some fertilizer tomorrow morning.

Don't fertilize until you see green grass in about a week at least. Sherm advised to see how bad the damage was and then fertilize. I would water again in the morning. Normally you wouldn't want that much water on your lawn, but you are trying to get the grass killer further down in the soil and away from the leaves and roots.

Even with enough water & sun, it will go very brown & take some time to come back, so be patient.
