Saw Brooklyn in the theater. It was very enjoyable. There were times when the leading young man (don't know his name) reminded me of a young Paul Newman.

We saw "Chef" a number of months ago, and watched it again last weekend. We liked it even more the second time around.

In the early 2000's there was a PBS series about living off the land. 3 families travelled by wagon train to Montana where they were to live for 5 months, living exactly like the 1800's. It was remarkably done, and I just loved it.

One family was very well-to-do from Malibu, another family from Tennessee and a father and son from Boston.

I searched this afternoon and found it. The series is on YouTube. We're going to watch it all over again.

I'm looking forward to a movie I just heard reviewed on NPR. "Elvis and Nixon" starring Kevin Spacey. I remember when the event took place, the movie is supposed to be very good.

We watched Red 2 yesterday. Red and Red 2 have Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren and John Malkovitch. A lot of gun fights and fighting but a lot of humour as well. And not one swear word.

Saw Hello my name is Doris, it's hilarious.

Lot's of swear words but I loved Deadpool. I do want to see Brooklyn.

Just rented, "Focus"....excellent!

I finally watched 50 shades of gray. I never wanted to but had to know what all the hype was about. The story was actually good, I had to fast forward through much of it. I hated the ending. It could have been a really good story if it ended right.
