Comments (15)Linda, As always you have a terrific selection of beauties! You and I seem to have the same taste in daylilies because every one of them you have shown so far is one I would grow myself. My absolute favorite of all these lovelies is Indy Heartstopper! Talk about a perfect name for it...it does indeed make your heart stop for a second it's so beautiful. We had lots & lots of rain last week with some of the rivers overflowing so I know what you mean about all the weeds. But we can't complain too much when other are in a drought, can we? Do the cats still go outside when it rains? Lily doesn't mind getting wet, but Fat Cat Nemo is a big sissy and stays inside...LOL. Celeste...See MoreRain rain rain rain and more rain.....
Comments (13)We have also had the rains this summer - but it has been very cool also. The crops were looking great, but behind due to the cool temps. This could reduce the yields quite a bit. Then we got hit with some major hail last weekend. Ouch! We didn't have any buildings damaged - but major crop damage. Guess things were looking too good. Luckey we didn't have the building damaged that some did though. Lots of broken windows and siding damage in some areas close to us....See MoreRain, rain, and more rain.
Comments (34)ugh, I live right on the coast of Northern Cal and once it warms up inland it will be foggy here all day every day for the most part. Does cut down on the need to water as the trees and shrubs do a good job of capturing the moisture and channeling it to their root zones, but it can be oppressive especially after a rainier than usual year. NOT COMPLAINING, just explaining! Have been plenty of rain and showers in the forecast this past week but not much action on the coast besides that thunderstorm the beginning of the week which was one of the noisiest I have heard. A friend was driving to Sacramento during the worst of it and he was exhausted by the time they arrived, but so amped he could not sleep....See MoreA big rain storm and more rain. Comments (4)I like Wheee! - if I see one I may have to add it. I like your basket of kittens too. I always see some many cute little things in pictures posted here but never when I'm out shopping. It's probably a good thing, yet another addiction I'd have to come to terms with eventually. ;)...See MoreDelawareDonna Zone 7A
