We bought a Cole-Sewell storm door at a going-out-of-business sale at our local hardware store. The store is now gone. When we opened the box, one of the sliding glass window inserts is missing. (It's the self-storing kind.) Cole-Sewell was bought by Pella a few years ago, and their product line doesn't show a similar door. We wrote to their customer service but didn't get an answer. EBay doesn't have any replacement windows, and I'm stumped. Any suggestions? It will be a cold winter if we can't find the second piece of glass to cover the open window!

Probably best to purchase stainless steel refrigerator and range. You may be able to purchase a new stainless dishwasher door cover (example) or OEM stainless panel to replace the black one. Replace the black oven in the future.

I need to replace a J channel for a storm door that was damaged. Below are two pictures of the undamaged J channel on the other sides of the door (which doesn't look properly installed since there is no overlap at the top) and a picture of where I have removed the damaged J channel. Some background on the house: built in 1904 with what appears was originally stucco siding that was covered up by aluminum siding at some point. I'm guessing the storm door was installed after the aluminum siding due to how much of a hack job it looks like. My questions are: 1. Without removing all of the siding around the door frame, how do I go about replacing the storm door jambs? Will I be forced to sink new nails into the siding that will be visible from the exterior? 2. Can I buy pre-fabricated aluminum J channels that I can cut to length to install? I have not found any available online or at the big box stores. Thanks!

I love front facing gable trim to “outline” the house. Don’t paint the metal roof! and don’t change the front door color. It’s the window trim which needs attention. Paint the window trim and all the trim the same as the metal roof. And the vinyl applied “vents” on each gable, those should be removed.
