Continuing my search for floral overdoses

I can recommend the documentary "Dior and I". It's about Raf Simmons' first collection in his time at Dior. Flowers are far between in the first half (but the fashion building is an interesting watch for anyone who has sewn their own clothes.)

The NYTimes has a nice review and a video intro to whet your interests.

Then there's a visit to Dior's home and gardens and rose garden.

Then there's the collection presented in an empty home in Paris which they redecorate by making panels of blooms. Included is a comment "guess you had an unlimited budget". The walls of blooms are memorable and forgetful at the same time.

I borrowed a copy from our library and yours may have one as well.
