Need help and advice on high gloss kitchen cabinets

Hi - we are re-doing an old house and are going for a contemporary high gloss european kitchen cabinet look, frameless, slab doors. Unfortunately, we are being told that most of the high gloss cabinets come from Italy and have a long lead time. And we dont want to spend poggenpohl types of dollars

Based on our own research, we want a solid acrylic finish (vs thermofoil) or even most laminates.

Yet we are being told that there arent many North American brands that will do a high gloss look NOT in thermofoil. Is this true?

Specifically, we are being told some contradictory things by a designer that I thought this group can help clarify:

-acrylic high gloss paints typically scratch easily UNLESS

-Italian lines have a lacquer/polyurethane top coat. Even those will scratch and once they do it’s very visible.

-there may be one or two lines in the US (that don’t order in from Italy) that have a high gloss acrylic finish with a lacquer finish

Can anyone vouch that the statements above are true?

I take as ground truth that we don't want thermofoil, right?

Can anyone point me to some North American lines that do solid acrylic slab frameless style in high gloss?

I have stumbled across some but can't speak to their quality:
Parapan by Element Designs
Design Craft
National Forest Products
Miralis (from Canada)

Any others?
