Happy Birthday To Me :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Easter to all who celebrate today. I am also celebrating my 26th birthday today. There was one other year Easter and my birthday were on the same day, but that was clear back in my elementary school days.
Without further ado, here is this year's Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake (I picked out the colors-it's also all vanilla with the chocolate cookie center). Dig in, everyone!

Comments (14)Yep, Tom and Kat. That's the plan. I'm booked with family in town this weekend, but next weekend I'm going to get the bed all fixed up and put some store-bought plants in there so we can get going. Then when the new batch of seedlings is ready, I'll put them in too. Then I'll spend all winter defending the tomatoes from the puppy, who thinks farming is just the most wonderful thing because it allows him to supplement his diet with tasty almost ready to pick tomatoes, sapodillas that fall, entire broccoli plants (broccoli is going out front this year - only broccoli we ate last year was from two plants that didn't fit in the broccoli bed in the back and got stuck in a front bed, a shame because broccoli was always so happy in the so-called broccoli bed, but it only took Atticus a few minutes to decimate them one morning when our backs were turned, he's sneaky that way) and so many cherries he gets sick (we've gotten rid of all the cherries finally.) I've kept up with the Saints, though, and I'm not blaming Jessy for that loss on Sunday. They had nothing to lose or gain by winning, so they didn't really try. Comments (13)NO MORE TILE!!!!! The gross stuff they use to make the seams. I just realized the guys butt is in the pic!LOL I watched them make one of the seams. A pretty interesting process. THe final. My girls wouldn't leave. Pic with the tiles we love in the background. I love the TILES, but I'm not sure the full GREEN will work with the stainless. The green isn't coming through our slabs as much as it did in the sample piece. I have another tile coming as well that has blue AND green in it, so I may end up with that one...or the mosaic I still really love. At least we are CLOSE to picking the backsplash. Comments (38)Love your backsplash. Did I miss what material it is? Did you say what stone/tile it is? You kitchen looks very similar to my kitchen before last - same color cab, black granite. Backsplash we used 4 diff limestones that the tile guy cut into 3x6 bricks. Still looking for a picture! I loved the look.
