Should I stay or should I go?

This large white pine has poor form, which has only been made worse by heavy late spring snows in 2012 & 2013. I'm pretty sure this tree was weeviled (?) when it was young, which is common with open grown native white pines. It has comeback over the past couple of years, but it's still a mess and will likely be subject to snow damage. There's a young Bur Oak (3rd pic to right) about 15' from it that would benefit by its removal. The pine also distracts from a splendid mature Northern Pin Oak, which you can see in the last picture.

I never feel good about taking down a tree, and I'm struggling making this decision. I had earlier posted about planting something near it, but I'm starting to think the better long-term decision would be to remove it. I've got a few very nice White Pines on the place, so this one wouldn't be especially missed.
