Please suggest best coffee table for recliner sofa
Comments (27)I also have a reclining sofa (just got) and am struggling with the same issue. I was looking at a round pedestal coffee table that is a big higher then normal. With the base smaller it allows for the reclining. You just have to make sure that the height of the foot rests on the sofa are under the height of the top of the table. Hope you find something - post pics when you do for the rest of us!...See MoreWhat to put behind my recliner sofa?

Comments (4)Just because the rules say that tables behind a soft should not be higher than the back, doesn't mean that this "rule" can't be broken if the situation demands this. I can eve imagine that this could be quite attractive. However: Please give us a detailed floor plan of the area in question, how many you want to be able to watch TV and how many of these prefer sitting or reclining. Then maybe we can come up with a plan for you....See MoreNeed help finding a console table for behind my couch
Comments (13)How do you live with no lamps in that space?! I don't even see pot lights in the ceiling. I too would want a sofa table for lamps if nothing else but where would they plug in?? Your table should be similar to the wood of the TV console or the metal of your side tables if you want the room to look cohesive. The rule is two hits of any one wood/metal in your case for tables for it not to look like a garage sale. I would not introduce something that will have to stand alone at this point. I am sure the fan is very needed for air flow but the suggested lower chandelier would also be lovely....See Moreerinsean
