Guidelines for console size under wall-hung big screen TV?
Comments (27)@Ashley George - if you’re asking about the photo right before your question, I’ve seen many of these for sale. The least expensive option that has good reviews is starting with IKEA pieces of furniture. I’ve never bought anything from IKEA but am trying to decide about how to arrange a media wall. IKEA has some pieces that can be floated even though they aren’t marketed that way. Some of their consoles are meant to be hung on the wall. I am still considering this option: Samsung - the frame TVs. Really cool. Come with a lot of art loaded. You pick your frame. TV sits flat against wall....See MoreAs seen on TV: I need this one, big time!
Comments (49)Glenda, I am glad you are okay enough to be out shopping! Both of our houses in GA had grab bars and the second one had an extra high toilet. We LOVED them. When we bought the second house the little old lady made a point to tell us that SHER didn't need those bars but they were then when she moved in, lol. We now have a claw foot tub (which I have grown to HATE!) and cannot connect grab bars since the tub is surrounded by shower curtains. The toilet is the standard size one. WE SO look forward to moving and getting a house with a driveway and a decent bathroom- grab bars will be installed ASAP along with a high oblong toilet. We are not the standard age where grab bars are usually recommended but they are good of everyone and with both Eric and me having herniated discs, the extras in the bathroom are a true luxury!...See MoreHuge Blank TV Wall Needs Help!
Comments (9)You could start off with doing some wall paneling, maybe barnwood? Providing you with the natural character of wood without getting into something large, such as an entertainment center. The variation of barnwood alone will give you some nice variation. Just enough to go behind and around the TV. Then perhaps some sconzes on the sides? The picture I have attached is an example in our showroom....See MoreNeed help completing TV wall
Comments (4)The scale on everything is a bit wonky - the tv stand is not long enough and is a bit tall - the prints are a bit small for the space. Can you back up and take a pic of the entire wall, plus some of the room layout? I think you can make everything work - just not in the current configuration....See More- 8 years ago
