Favorite pictures of 2015
This is very hard to find just one favorite picture or two from summer 2015 so went through a few and they all seem to stand out now that everything is brown and dreary with no snow cover to even hide the missing soil. So here goes a few I will share tonight . The first picture was the girl and photographer that did a photo shoot donating her fee to the Breast cancer society This unfortunately is not the real me but just my yard lol

Comments (21)Debra - you do amazingly well. Focus stacking involves putting your camera on a tripod, then taking a series of photos with the focus on the front to the back of the field of daylilies (or birds). Using software, you can do layers to get a full focus across the entire field of view (or just the area you want in focus). Comments (8)Well, now you're getting me to talk about the outstanding items in my wish list, Rick lol Were you planning to get a camera? I inherited a 35mm Nikon FG when I was in college. I had to retire that because developing films became increasingly expensive and digital cameras became cheaper. I have since been using my very old digital SLR (single-lens reflex--the kind that lets you see through the lens exactly what shot you are taking) with interchangeable lenses. It's an old Nikon D60, strictly an amateur camera. Over the years I have only splurged on lenses but I know I should upgrade the body to something less than 30 years old (this is item #3). I'm actually now wondering whether I made a mistake spending on Item #2 in that list because Item #3 went on sale on Amazon just now. Patience doesn't really figure into it, Tracy. Comments (20)Thank you Sharlene and Kentucky. Sharlene, I planted another JC this year, they've both bloomed quite a bit. I hope you enjoy yours, and hope it does good. My established one has put on some new growth in recent months. Kentucky, this year just didn't have as good of a beginning as the three previous years. I feel like I've been kind of whiny about it, but the situation is improving, and we had rain this evening, which helps a bunch! 8 years agoi finally figured out why I had two of the same pictures. I tried downloading two different pictures one after another before they were finished and it never switched to the second one I was trying to download. Never noticed it until Murray Mountain one was missing. tj , I tried what you said and was unsuccessful so be it. I think our weather was lots nicer in BC interior then it was on the coast and due to the fact of putting in a new well , my hosta had all the water they wanted

8 years agolast modified: 8 years agoYes those are some of the hypertufa I made last year. They were an easy fun project , Some never made it over the season and I should have sealed them . I did make a few stepping stones and bird bathes . Can get the instructions on the internet under "hypertufa draping pots " The draping pots are unique and seems there are never two exactly the same. Thanks for noticing and you must give it a try, It is so rewarding to see the results each time and gets rid of old sheets and towels so one is actually are recycling and saving the environment too.
We use the patio quite a lot and enjoy it as often as possible
