I hope it is one of the 'Schick hybrids' Its' a little yellow, I would take each of those out one by one, remove the soil and replace it in what ever England uses for cactus. Call Warren Withers phone # 1788 571900 a cactus grower, so is Gordon Rowley. You have excellent cacti growers in England. After you take them out wash off all of the soil. Start them in slightly damp soil and don't water for about 2 weeks. Use chicken grit,I think it was a #5 mixed with cactus mix of 10% only. Now top dress to keep the soil away from the body of the plant. If hot an dry (low humidity) water in the summer once a week, I have never seen Mamm. grow well as in England. I got an Hebe 'Quicksilver', I actually selected 'Hebe' as genus to collect this year after reading the Hebe posts and looking up the hardy ones. I really wanted some that have purple flowers....:-( But didn't see any, and don't know where to get them either. Quicksilver does have a purple flower but probably not very significant judging from the description, I hope I will be pleasantly surprised. I also got a Heuchera 'Midnight Rose' and a Valerian 'Arterner Zuchtung' which is supposed to have a higher essential oil content and has purplish stems and pinkish flowers. I love the smell of the Valerian flowers, quite heady. But while I take it as capsules with Hops since I'm an insomniac, I don't dig the roots and make my own tea, which has a very strong taste. Maybe I should try propagating some from seed and try digging it. Anyway, all these were priced well. Last year I got One Green World to bring a couple of Persimmon trees to the sale and saved on shipping charges. The Clark County Home and Garden Idea Fair will be in a couple of weeks at the Clark County Fairgrounds, so that will be another chance to look for plants. The lines were long but not too bad when I was there. It was really crowded, though, so hard to look at things. One advantage of the CCH&GIF is it opens on Friday so is not as crowded for those who can go then.

Hello, We just ordered a sofa on 10/31/08 and we just got an e-mail stating our sofa is sitting in a N.C. warehouse until after X-mas. Ok, fine, but when we called to ask if they had another carrier they used that may be able to deliver earlier, the "nut job" they employ by the name of LOU, went off on us on the phone like a nut! I would not recommend this company, we haven't even received our sofa yet, when we called to ask for the owner, after the nut, LOU hung up on us, this Tom person, "owner"??? ask who we where, YOUR CUSTOMER! Unbelievable, he then apologized for his employe, wish us luck, 10-12 weeks later we may or may not get our sofa, and the question we had for the nut job was, If the sofa arrives damaged do we keep it until you exchange it, or do we send it all the back with this driver from N.C. ??? Simple right? Wish us luck:(
