Annual Historical Society Dinner/Play

We went to the annual dinner/play put on by one of the local historical societies. They write their plays based on "[guaranteed 10%] historically accurate material". lol! They are a hoot! Lots of great information comes from a diary they found that was kept by a man from the mid 1800s through early 1900s.

Last night was their 12th year, and I've been going for at least 10. I convinced my sister & BIL to drive out from Massachusetts to attend -- they loved it!

Rule #1: Choose your dessert before dinner is served! They have two large tables full of a variety of homemade pies. I chose pecan pie. Other choices made from my group were rhubarb, mixed berry, peach....and four at the table chose chocolate cream. :)

Dinner is always home-style roast pork with all the trimmings.
My sister even took pictures. lol! Here's my mom. :)
