Your choice is more a matter of taste than utility so I wouldn't know which suit's you best. My taste leans toward a gable porch above two doors and shed above single door. I know that cost's more than you want to spend but imo adds alot for the money. I have a suggestion that might serve well going foward. Try to plan projests including colors,material,size and other considerations from start to finish before starting the project. In this case proper flashing would have been installed along with siding. As it stands you will have to backtrack installing flashing or risk water getting behind siding. In my experience flashing installed during resideing/reroofing is far superior to that which can be retrofitted latter.
