Was originally written for 250 ml jars (1/2 pints ) and suggested 6-8 jars. When modified to US measurements it equals approx. 4 pint jars. But as with all recipes that is an approximation because there are so many variables. Have an extra jar available so that it is kept soupy enough when jarring for proper heat penetration and note the longer processing time of 20-25 mins. if you use pints.
