Anyone order from plumeria gallery before?
Comments (23)I've ordered Plumerias online or by phone, to be shipped MANY times. My personal favorites are; Jungle Jacks, Bradsbudsnblooms, Teas( sadly, they are no longer in business)Matt at one stop aloha on Ebay, and Maui Gardens. Maui Gardens prices are steep, rarely order from them anymore. JJ sends the largest, healthiest plants of any of them, but shipping is high if you have them shipped in pot but in my opinion, worth the price. You get a small tree, not a cutting. The only downside is John is busy and you will often have to wait to find out about availability, and get your order squared away. Better to call him than email him. BBnB has a lot of varieties and they are very nice to work with. Their rooted cuttings are large and often multi tipped, just make sure you call or email them first, tell them what you want and ask how many tips, size, etc. If you do that, they are great. Matt's plants are usually small, but they are very healthy and I have never lost one. He always describes how many tips, and height and you can get good deals from him on Ebay if you don't get into a bidding war early and wait until near the end of the auctions to bid. He's also very nice to deal with. Florida Colors I will buy cuttings but not rooted plants because they graft EVERYTHING that is rooted, why I don't know because it's easy to root most Plumerias in FL. I don't care for grafted unless it's absolutely necessary and can never figure out why they don't just root them....See MoreAnyone ordered furniture from Greenculture before?
Comments (6)Thanks :) Actually, I did find some info on them. I did a google search for reviews and on Amazon there were 7 reviews each with one star only. A common complaint is them pulling a switcheroo. They change the names of furniture or lamps or whatever and then when it is delivered the buyers have discovered that it is something much cheaper than what they paid. Plus, they are ordering from suppliers that say in no way that they are 'green'. There is even an article from a buyer in the Washington Post. I checked the BBB and they rated a B. Now I'm a bit nervous about them. I was willing to pay more for green furniture, but if that is not what I am going to get I will certainly be disappointed. Maybe I'll keep looking for a similar look somewhere else. Christy Here is a link that might be useful: Washington Post article...See MoreLenor Spring Softener and Sport Suds detergent
Comments (13)Larsi...I'm glad to hear that Lenor is more on the watery side. As I remember, Downy wasn't so thick as it is today. It's easier for the machine to rinse out the fabric softener dispenser when it's more liquid. I'll have to get it when I place an order on Amazon. I did drive out to ALDI's and picked up the Tandil "Spring Time Fresh" FS (only because there was talk about it here), otherwise I would have never though to pick up any....See MoreOxi White Revive...Anyone Try It?
Comments (31)Everyone...take 10..put everything in prospective..this all started because I recommended pure oxygen bleach as opposed to a product containing mostly sodium carbonate. ..May you are correct that I didn't ask first why that person didn't buy the more pure form..I didn't think to ask that..I was only suggesting a better product IMO. I am sorry i rub you the wrong way May, I've looked back on past posts and realized...I'm not sure how to word it but I've always had the feeling I bug you..that's ok. Maybe I said something you didn't like or agree with, it doesn't really matter. I will say that up there^^^^ when I suggested someone cut to the chase and buy pure sodium percarbonate, I felt like you belittled me for saying it..you ask why I slam oxi boosters, as if I've done something wrong voicing my opinion on the added washing soda to it..am I not allowed to voice my opinion on a product because it might hurt someone's feelings..I was after all respectful, I did not slam a person, I told of my dislike of a product and why. I still can't understand how all of this happened, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I voiced an opinion on a product and that's that..last night I got a bit emotional over this, I was ready to bail out, but I thought about it..if I run out on this forum because someone doesn't like my views on a product..well that's just silly. I'm staying, everyone will not like the products I use, I won't like every product someone else uses, but I will voice my opinion as I would expect in return. And I hope that everyone knows that just because I don't like a product they may use doesn't mean I think less of that person..I don't judge someone on their laundry products. May, my apologies to you for whatever I've said in the past that upset you..I hope you will accept my apologie. And I hope this whole thing can be dropped and put in the past life is short....See MoreLaundry Mich
