10 years agoI sent the screen shot to my email so I could upload it from my XP machine. I don't know my way around Win 7 and I couldn't get the screen shot.
What concerns me is I can't open FireFox at all. As soon as I try I get the Malwarebytes screen. I haven't run a scan but my husband thinks he might have but isn't sure.

It worked from XP doing the same thing I did on Win 7. I clicked the 'photo icon' and uploaded it.
Anyway, hopefully you can expand it so you can read it. It sounds so complicated and since I can't open FF I'm not sure what to do. I uninstalled FF and reinstalled but I only get this screen when I try to open it. Appears legit, not sure why it took over the browser.

Comments (9)What fun! Thanks for sharing the plan - it's such a good idea to make sure that your spacing is correct and that you have the right roses in the right places. You are allowing enough space between them, it seems. Is this bed an island? Some of the shorter and smaller roses will get lost if they are in the back. You might want to add the dimension of height into your planning and consider how it will look 3-D. I agree that Portland from Glendora is problematic in this mix, which consists of teas with a few modern roses with glossy leaves. P from G is one of my favorite roses, but its growth is big and gawky and coarse (although its flowers are refined and fragrant and wonderful). I've seen it grown as a hedge, and I have it at the back of a border. In the cemetery, it's just a big tall plant. I think it might look out of place at the edge of a bed of teas. The yellow of Mistral may be a bit too bright and modern for the rest of these roses. All tea colors harmonize, it seems to me, although I wonder if Mrs. B. R. Cant and Mme Lombard are too similar in coloration (not similar at all in shape of flower) to be side-by-side. I also wonder about G. Nabbonand and Mrs. Dudley Cross, both of which are quite pale, I believe, and might not contrast enough. Comments (32)I carry small purses nowadays, usually an across the chest shoulder strap type so I'm hands free. My most used is a little larger than a wallet with a zipper pocket for keys and my drugstore reading glasses (tiny and in a metal tube case), a pocket pack of Kleenex (always need those) and an outside phone pocket which I use for my smallest camera (I've never had or needed a cellphone.) I also have one of those flat plastic credit card-sized magnifying glasses which I bought and then forgot where I put it. I use glasses only for reading as I'm farsighted, but when I went to the optometrist for a checkup I thought about being fitted for computer glasses. Best idea I ever had as we could fine tune the correct distance at the optometrist's office by looking at his computer. Spending long hours gazing at my computer screen was tiring, so this was a good solution for reading the screen from about 27 inches away without eyestrain. Yes it is common here in Europe for men to carry a bag and it looks quite natural because so many of them are camera bags or backpack-type sling bags over one shoulder, often used by bikers and hikers. Most supermarkets and some stores here have a set of small lockers at the entrance where shoppers can leave their big backpacks or large carryalls. And some still have signs at the entrance asking people to leave their bags of all types in the lockers provided. Some years ago there were shops which asked people to leave their handbags with an employee at the front door. I would always walk out of such places, because as you said Lars, what guarantee do you have they're not snooping inside. Comments (9)no it does not take resources since it is only being used when you add a new bookmark then that is when it will do the sync so that it puts it on all of your browsers. It is just an add on you add to your individual browsers so very easy to do. Your bookmarks that are already stored will all be there on all of your browsers it will take what you have on both browsers and make it one basically, so that no matter which browser you are on you will see all of your bookmarks. It will also store all of your bookmarks on your own bookmarks website which you can access by using the name and password you create so that even if you are traveling and using someone else's computer by going to your bookmarks website you can have your own bookmarks handy to use. here is a great little video that explains it and how to use it, feel free to ask for more help if you need it many of us here use xmarks. There are so many pages like this. I won't bother showing any others unless you want it. Frankly, I don't know where to begin. I don't see anything weird on his taskbar and not sure if I should delete those programs or what. I can't access Firefox at all.
Thinking I might be better off uninstalling Malwarebytes, Firefox and trying to reinstall them both. I find it very strange that Malwarebytes took over Firefox.

10 years agoHave you tried closing that tab by clicking on the x of the tab (in the red circle)? Also by clicking on the + sign beside it should open a new tab. I often have several tabs in that bar so I can return to a previous page.
