Comments (10)When my father went through chemo he lost weight as if it were falling off him. The chemo dulled his appetite to the point that he didn't want to eat anything. I'd imagine George is experiencing something like this: He probably just can't bring himself to eat right now. It has nothing to do with what his priorities "ought" to be. If I were Leone (hi, Leone!) I'd be "into" anything that helps George put the weight back on. Those sorbet and ice cream experiments sound fab to me. Wouldn't mind having a sample of all of them right now! Karen...See MoreNutella
Comments (22)I put it in my son's lunch on top of his peanut butter--he loves it. It give him a little more calories and protein. I also have a recipe I got somewhere for Nutella brownies. You have to refrigerate for them to get hard but they are rich and delish! Nutella Cheesecake Brownies Ingredients for Brownie Layer: 10 tbsp butter (unsalted) melted and slightly cooled 1/4 c Nutella 2 large eggs 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup natural cocoa powder Ingredients for Cheesecake Layer: 8 oz cream cheese softened at room temp. 3 tbsp granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1/3 cup Nutella Preheat oven to 325F. Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment. To make the brownie layer combine butter, Nutella, eggs and sugar in a large bowl and mix well. Sift in flour and cocoa powder and mix until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Set aside while you prepare the cheesecake layer. To make the cheesecake layer, mix the cream cheese, sugar, eggs and Nutella until well combined. Pour over your brownie batter. Bake at 325F until the cheesecake looks set, about 40-45 minutes. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting. I cut my brownies into 36 pieces since they are quite decadent.) Enjoy!...See MoreIf you bought Nutella, this might interest you:
Comments (15)People are so ridiculous. It's creative marketing - the same thing that tries to convince people that eating Lucky Charms is a balanced breakfast cause it has whole grains and calcium! It doesn't talk about the sugar or preservatives but technically it's not lying and neither is Nutella. Those proclamations are there to make people feel better about eating or feeding their kids crap food so they will buy the products. And it works. Now if the nutritional information was incorrect or mislabeled, that would be one thing, but I get tired of people not taking any personal responsibility. If you're too lazy to read the label and instead make all of your decisions from the TV, then you have no right to complain when it takes literally 2 seconds to read a label....See MoreSo I have this jar of Nutella....
Comments (26)Well, Woody had some last night on his ice cream. Said it was too sweet for him so I asked my mum if she wanted it and she said SURE! So I'll give it to her. Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions, though. It's just too sweet for me, which is so not like me, but there's something about it I just don't like. Auntie Jodi- Gravey is fine and dandy but a little too lunchy! We laugh at her jiggly belly all the time, she's so fat. She could give Santa a run for his money in that department! But she's adorable and fun and sweet and she and Nosey Parker just love each other. They are running this scam together- If Daddy goes downstairs, they race him to his gun room and force him to play with them. If I go upstairs, they haul butt up there and make me shoot covered elastics down the long hall for them. We play Cat Quidditch. Gravey is the goalie, she likes to stop them, and Parker is a Seeker- she loves to chase them down. Sounds like a herd of wild buffalos to anyone on the 2nd floor, especially when there's a collision. :)...See Morepkramer60
