Comments (8)Hey Josh, please don't stay away too long! You have been missed these days:=) Patty! Please share your Jades! I still have one set aside for you. I just brought them up for the summer for good today:-) Thanks for the comments. The roots are not tight yet. It loves that pot.lol You should see the second flower that just opened today. Oh, it smells so nice. Hi Andrew. They can't be found anywhere here in the U.S. I don't even know the cultivator of that one. Hey Blaze..Thank you! What is your name anyhow? No gas masks here..lol Mike! What's up? How have you been? How's that gardenia? I'll bet it's doing great now that the warmer weather has arrived. Have you tried vinegar yet? Mike, hook me up to that adenium thread if you can. I would love to see it. Thanks buddy MIke...See MoreBetter Late Than Never and Cayenne look alike, also some zinnias
Comments (12)Kay- I guess mine (FEAR NOT) recurves the most when it is the hotest but it always recurves. Jean- I have the big flowered STATE FAIR zinnias up in my back garden over the daylily plateau. Then I have those CUT AND COME AGAIN zinnias in the Terraces garden there in back of those daylilies. Those two reds, BETTER LATE THAN NEVER and CAYENNE are blooming again today but I didn't take any pictures. I do have lots of the OT hybreds lilies blooming but while they are in spots were they are seen to be enjoyed, I can't get to them to take pictures. Nate- I plant the zinnias closly, only a few inches. I want them to look full and nothing showing in between. Christine, thanks, I enjoy taking and posting pictures. I don't plant Profusion zinnias mine are the more common older varieties. But I like them in all those mixed colors....See MoreHawk not gone!! Better Pictures Look!! LOOK!!
Comments (10)Are you sure this hawk is not adult size? His wing span now is at least 3.5-4' wide, that to me means adult. All the guides I have read about raptors since first seeing this Hawk was that the young ones are hard to tell apart but the adults of each species have distince characteristics that help identify them. From seeing him in my tree right in front of my face, I thought my god, he comes up above my knee cap, clearly a tall hawk which is what brought me to the goshawk, my neighbor thinks that it is a goshawk as well, but I am going to have to get a better picture for you guys to help me positively identify him. I do like that all of you know alot about raptors, that is really awesome. I will post more pictures soon. Thank you guys!...See MoreGrafted a cactus, is it ok? also cut away rot but it looks bad?
Comments (5)I grafted it to the cactus on the bottom, not sure what kind it is, just got it from home depot Yes, the rotting got worse, I'm assuming I should just cut from the top and get rid of the rotting part? The bottom I dusted right after cutting. I will try cutting it out again but its very close to the roots so I'm not sure if i can do it without disturbing them, should I just cut the whole bottom off and try to re-grow roots or try to cut around them? Would that be too stressful for the cactus?...See Moreaddicted2plants Southern IL USA
