I second the wake up thing....not a morning person...but this morning, work is on my mind so I will guess.....

I third the wake-up guess., although I'm always up way before then to either go for a run or go to the gym so I can have my heart attack. :-)

Pick a fight with your partner.

I looked it up blfenton. 4 (or 6)-10AM (or 12PM) are when most heart attacks occur, they are more severe, and with a great many of them on Monday (33% higher!). So today, you shoulda skipped it!

Call someone. I still follow the rule my parents gave me as a child. Don't call before 8am or after 9 pm.

There may be other reasons too, but I know that blood thickens during sleep and so is thicker in the morning. That's why if your doctor recommends taking a low dose aspirin (as a blood thinner), it's usually suggested to do so at night. (My internist told me recently that the thinking on low dose aspirin has changed recently, I think it's recommended only for those who have already had a heart attack, not as a preventive for those who haven't.)

Since I'm here, to stay on topic, I'll agree with the suggestion to not make a major decision. Alternatively, it's also not a good time to sharpen knives or land an airplane.

That's not the current thought snidely. It's a heart protein and circadian rhythm combination. Problems increase even more with the daylight savings time changes.

I will third calling, and making decisions, play loud music, on a personal note I would say buzz the town with your very noisy biplane.
