I am getting rid of baskets!
Comments (6)Several years ago, in a school, I had essentially the same problem with baskets, although they were smaller baskets and mostly plastic. The people who worked there before me liked to use lots of small plastic baskets, but that made it easy to dispose of something by plopping it into a basket instead of putting it where it belonged. I did the same thing, too: got rid of all the baskets that were not actually being put to good use. (Some of them were used to hold things like art supplies that would be taken to a classroom and then brought back to store in the supply closet, and I kept those.) The stuff I found in the baskets was pretty varied, but unfortunately, there was no money in any of them....See MoreWhat did you go to get rid of your tummy after baby? (more)
Comments (8)i had a c-section 11 weeks ago (to the day!) and i think i still have about 10 pounds to go to my prepreg weight. my stomach was awesome before! not bragging, but a had a tight tummy with a line down the middle! i still have a line, but it's the one from being pregnant! i had a low low down bikini cut, way below any bikini i would ever wear! i started doing sit-ups and yoga again a couple of weeks ago and i just hope in time my tummy will look good again! it doesn't look all that different anymore, just fatter. my advice, drink lots of water, eat healthy, and work out! that's all i think can be done ( : -jami...See MoreIt's Never going to get better is it??
Comments (21)(((HUGS))) Ditto everyone else---she is JEALOUS of you. I went through similar stuff with my SS's mother. Opposite situation in that I am the SM, she is the BM. But not all that different in that you and I are good, kind-hearted people doing our best to care for our children. I have a DD and my SS, while you have your DD and DS. We were both physically assaulted. And verbally. And I totally understand, the verbal stuff is FAR more hurtful. BM has pretty much been out of my head/life for the past two years because I had a restraining order on her, and she couldn't send me nasty emails. But, believe me, for YEARS she did, and she would leave me nasty, hateful voicemails. One we played for the GAL in DH's court case---right after BM had assaulted me. In it, she called me a "pubic-haired b*tch" and made comments about my weight. She has ALWAYS called me fat. I don't get it at all because I am 5'3" and weigh about 117 lbs! WTF. I think it's a female thing to go RIGHT to weight/appearance. Women like your DD's SM or my SS's BM---CRUEL women---have this urge to attack and hurt, and they lash out at US in the very areas they themselves are so self conscious and insecure about. You are beautiful inside and out. I don't even know but I can tell that just by your posts here on GW. You are SO much better, so much more of a mother, wife and WOMAN than SM ever could be. And she knows it!!! That's why she is relentless in her attacks on you. She wants to bring you down to her level of misery. Don't let her. She is NOT worth your time or mental energy. Save all the emails, print them, file them away but don't respond and try not to even let them get at you. I really feel for you, honey. I think your situation is so very painful because SM is attacking you as a mother. Mine was less painful/easier to take because BM was attacking me as a SM. I think as mothers our defenses instantly go up. There were times that BM would take jabs at my daughter and I wanted to fly thrugh the roof! It's more hurtful and personal. And,again, she knows it! I don't understand why this woman cannot just parent her own DD, help BD parent your DD when she is there and LEAVE YOU THE H*LL ALONE?! She is really emotionally disturbed....See MoreHow the heck am I supposed to get rid of all these lava rocks?
Comments (6)id tell you to move ... but .. well .. lol.. that isnt going to happen ... the easiest way to get them up ... would be with the checkbook ... trust me on that ... lol i had to remove white whatever ... with a rake.. manure shovel.. garden sieve and mostly by hand.. it took me a month ... to do a 6 by 10 foot area ... just outside the front door ........ not to mention they couldnt be dug out .. because of landscape plastic underneath .. what a nightmare ... [i raked the loose rocks.. onto the flat shovel to put them in the sieve] but one thing comes to mind... you have a wooden house .. that needs to be painted every few years ... if this is just 3 feet or so ... consider leaving it to aid maintenance .. and build your beds further out ... remember.. i keep telling you.. on acreage.. space considerations change .... also keep in mind.. foundation plantings are meant to hide the foundation.. not be planted on them ... and again.. with your increased space ... consider leaving them there ... it will be the best money ever spent.. to hire a gang of brawny men.. with the appropriate skid steer... whatever.. to do the job.. and haul it all away ... if you cant just leave it there .... please dont get frustrated when i try to help.. i cant help doing project talk.. other than like a man .... just keep in mind.. my good intentions ... ken ps: have miss dig.. ID all your utilities.. and make photo records.. to insure you dont mess around with such.. near a foundation ... for me.. it was mostly silly stupid easy to know.. except the buried cables to the barn ... didnt expect them where they were .... and there was a rather unique placement of the gas line .. not really lined up to the meter .. well maybe it wasnt easy to know ... lol.. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=garden+sieve&FORM=HDRSC2 https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=manure+shovel&FORM=HDRSC2 https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=skid+steer&FORM=HDRSC2...See Moregrandmamary_ga
