Comments (5)Grilled some salmon on a cedar plank, always so good. Made a salad with greens and marinated veggies from the garden, a little rice pilaf. Awfully hot here today, even though the patio and back porch are shaded after about ten, you could feel the heat radiating from the concrete. Comments (9)It's all about stuff from the garden these days. I've fixed a marinated salad of zucchini ribbons, rat tail radish, grape tomatoes, cukes, chard, quinoa, and goat cheese. (I don't have a goat in my garden and don't raise quinoa, lol.) Robert is getting ready to grill some sliced pork tenderloin, also marinated, to add to the meal. We had another big storm this afternoon, which cooled things off a lot even though it's steamy. If I wore glasses anymore, they would fog up when I go outside. Comments (11)I made a pile of zucchini noodles, sauteed them briefly in a little butter with some minced garlic and served it up with grilled shrimp and smoked sausage kabobs. I steamed some broccoli, too, to stir in with the zoodles. It's been very rainy here and very steamy when it isn't raining. No sitting on the patio, that's for sure....See More- 11 years ago
