What's for Dinner ... Tuesday?
Comments (6)gadgets, hope you are feeling better soon and nothing too difficult to resolve has happened.... DH is just about to put on the prime rib that we had planned but didn't cook yesterday. He's home early enough this afternoon that he can cook it, and roast potatoes, I'll make a salad and wash some blueberries, adding some antioxidants to the meal ;) The roast had been for the holiday weekend. We ate out on Sunday, weather yesterday was cool and drizzly and we got involved canning tuna outside over gas in the open doorway to the garage and didn't feel like watching the roast too. Please take care of your back......See MoreWhat's for Dinner ... Tuesday?
Comments (13)Raven: Vidalias are really the only onions I like. Your meal sounds so very good. Georgysmom: I hope you eventually get to eat tonight. Angela: I definitely am going to try your campfire breakfast. That's something I know I'll like. Do you precook the potatoes? Suzi: Hula Chicken seems like it would be a good meal. Enjoy your meal at Sweet Baby Janes. Jasdip: In total agreement about humidity. I really am impressed with the ingredients of your tabbouleh. Musicgale: Set me a place at your table please. I like my steak med rare. Morz8: That would be an entirely new food for me. I'd be up for trying it if someone was delivering. Rhizo: All those great, healthy ingredients in your salad ... mmm. Comments (8)Stuffed patty pan squash is on the menu, as much as I hate to use the oven. The stuffing will consist of squash innards, jalapeno and chipotle peppers (small doses), corn, chopped tomato, quinoa, seasoned with a little cilantro, lime zest, and topped with queso fresco. It's gotta be good, right? A neighbor brought over a Sugar Baby watermelon which will be enjoyed later....See MoreWhat's for Dinner ... Tuesday?
Comments (6)My husband has said he will grill the nice bone in ribeye steaks we picked up and I am cooking fresh corn on the cob to go with it and sliced farm tomatoes. Beautiful day but oh so hot!! still over a hundred right now and will likely stay there for a while. I am headed to the atrium to turn on my sprinkler system I have set up in there. I can make it rain! LOL the plants and birds love it!...See Moreravencajun Zone 8b TX
