Brondell swash 300 bidet toilet seat

Has anyone used this toilet seat? Any good or bad experiences? Is it worth the money or would you recommend any other brand?

I don't have experience with the Brondell, but I love having an advanced toilet seat. I have 2. Guest drop their jaw and snicker. Oh well. I put my first one in the first bathroom that I remodeled which happened to be the more public bathroom. I got an INAX, top of the line. It is wonderful, but is not distributed to the US any longer. Herringmaven, had a lot of comments on GW over the last few years, on advanced toilet seats. Herringmaven no longer posts, with the Houzz change, I believe I'd seen one or 2 post only, but no longer.

I have a Novita for the second bathroom and I like the features but lots of them are really not needed.

So your basic seat sounds very practical. I would say you don't need a dryer. I never use it. I just blot dry, it takes too long to blow dry, lol.

The warm seat is nice in the winter.

The water heating reservoir vs the endless hot water supply is something to consider if you need more time with water irrigation or what ever, but for just general hygiene, the constant hot water flow is not necessary IMO.

The wall remote is nice but handheld would be easier sometimes, depending on location for wall remote. And if you have a good place to store the handheld. I can't read my Novita wall remote because it is all digital, with lighting that is not visible if angled wrong from your view. I mounted it below my eye level which is not helpful. My INAX has black print and with raised smooth bumps for the switches for easy access.

The Novita has so many options that it really is a waste for me.

I do like having 2 wands.

Realize that you will have to sit way back on the seat to access the sprays. Both mine require this and I think it takes getting used to from what I have read on GW.

Be sure to really know how your seat will connect to your intake water and to your toilet tank. The INAX was a breeze! Great couplings. While the Novita was much more complicated, though offered a water filter.

Good Luck. I would never be without an advanced toilet seat again : )

Great info enduring. Thanks. Now I have to make sure the measurement on the brondell will fit on american standard champion 4. Any comment on the AS champion 4?

I'm close to choosing my first toilet seat bidet. I'm considering these: BB BLISS 2000, BB 1000, SWASH 1000, COCO Bidet 9500RS, Coway BA13, & TOTO 300 (with or w/out the 'e'--electrolized water, supposedly more sanitary). 1 Do I really need to buy an elongated toilet?? My toilet is round, & frankly, it feels nice and comfy to me. Mostly it's only myself, and sometimes my 4 yr old grandson, who'll use this toilet. Some say the round tsbidets are too small. 2 Does anyone have an elongated tsbidet on a round toilet? 3 Has anyone put a white tsbidet on a beige toilet? (Some tsb only come in white, so of course my toilet is beige!) 4 I'm wondering if the "Far Infrared dryers" offer better drying; if they're better than just warm air dryers for people with various 'unmentionable' problems; or if it doesn't matter at all. Or maybe they're all far infrared? 5 Some have a 'Splash Guard'. Do tsbidets squirt water (clean or yucky) from below the seat? Thanks for any guidance!

The Jasmine is the same model as the S300. I don't know the reason for the different names. That's probably a good price. When I bought mine nearly 3 years ago, I was told ther was fixing to be a price increase. cindaloutx, check out these videos at Toto.com. Maybe it will answer your questions. Does the retractable wand ever need cleaning? Yes, occassionally and is easily done with a soft cloth. Trying not to reveal TMI (too much information) but I just suffered thru bad stomach virus this weekend. My Washlet made made all the difference in the world :) springvillegardens, here is a photo of where I have my remote installed. No reach for it. With my back issues, I don't know what I'd do without my Washlet, not to mention how much cleaner and fresher it makes you feel. You have a choice of two rear washes, one a forceful steam and the other not as forceful and covers more area. Both are adjustable as is the water temp and seat temp. One front wash. Adjustable as well. Dryer has three temps. Also a deoderizer that automatically goes off 1 minutes after you get up. Or you can turn it on as needed. There is a power saver option. I have mine set for the features to be "on" from 9am to 12 midnight. I would hate to have to choose which bathroom feature is my favorite, the Washlet or airtub. Janesylvia, the very fact that we cannot offer an opinion as to the Coco Bidet may be the point of our "opinion" of alternatives to the Toto model. We travel back and forth to Japan several times a year -- and as you know Japan is where the advanced toilet seat technology was invented and is constantly being improved upon. We have seen and "tried" many different models of advanced toilet seats when in Japan (where I happen to be while typing this), but every single one of them was either a Toto model or an Inax model. We have seen other brands, less expensive, of advanced toilet seats for sale in discount stores, but never have we seen any advanced toilet seat that was not either an Inax or a Toto in any public facility or in a home. Inax and Toto completely dominate the Japanese market, which is the most sophisticated market in the world for this specific genre of product. As a matter of personal preference, we prefer the two-wand design of the Inax line -- which allows the posterior cleaning wand and the feminine cleaning wand each to be positioned for the respective optimal angles of incidence of the spray -- to the one-wand design of the Toto models, but that may not be as important to you as it is to us. To underscore the latter, for our own home in the Unted States, we purchased an Inax (the Clessence model that does not have a remote control) for a price about half that of the Toto S300. We are happy with our Inax, and we do not experience the initial "cold moment" that crops up as an issue in the (very positive) Amazon.com reviews of the Coco to you which you linked. I think I'd consider the Toto as well. I haven't used any of the ones you've listed, including the toto. The reason for my choice is because of my personal experience with the INAX and Novita. I love the INAX, the spray is wonderful, has 2 wands. The Novita has all the extra features, such as continuous heated water, night light, etc. But the INAX is just better. So that is why I'd go with the Toto. I know INAX isn't available any more in the US, I tried to find one several years ago for my second bathroom but no luck. The Novita has been fine, and it has a 3 year warranty, but the INAX has a better build quality. Toto probably would too.

Nope, no comments. Have you decided on your vendor? Ask them, I used BidetKing and they were very helpful with my last purchase of the Novita. I wish INAX still sold their seat in the US, it has a fabulous spray, with its two wands.
