What;s for dinner Wednesday?
Comments (13)I cooked that spiral ham. Along with that was mashed potatoes and beets. Anytime I send Bobby to the garage to get a vegetable either from the freezer or canned on the shelf I can be assured he is going to come in with beets. LOL After dinner I cut the meat off the bone and packaged it for the freezer. Got six packs of meat and a big pack with the bone and the juice from the pan the ham cooked in. Looking forward to 15 bean soup in the near future....See MoreWhat's for Dinner on Wednesday?
Comments (10)It's been overcast for the most part today. They'd predicted 50% chance of rain, but so far I haven't gotten any here in my part of Ohio. I made porcupine balls, mashed potatoes/gravy, and creamed corn for my main meal. Good old comfort food and I enjoyed it. Now if the maid would come in and clean up............. Comments (20)Glenda: I love a good chicken pot pie. But the vegetables have to be done. Do you exercise under the bubble? Sue: Once in a while, I buy the Arby's roast beef for the freezer when they run a special. I like the horsey sauce. What's a Health shake? Betsy: Mmmm, good comfort foods for a rainy day. Chi: Just went and looked up that pasta dish. It looks really good. Matti: Meatballs, sauce and sopping bread. Who needs pasta? Jasdip: Give me a good steak any day of the week and I'll be happy. Pam: I'll take either the grilled cheese or the juicy hamburger. Gazania: If I had a garden, I'd premake my peppers too. Great to have them in the freezer. And I love 'repeat' meals. Quick, easy, good and clean up can be a breeze. Georgysmom: You are one busy gal. I simply must try the Chinese place they have in our little town. I think I'd need an advisor to go with me. Comments (7)My day was busy. It was a pretty day here in Ohio, but getting warmer and more humid daily. When I look at far range, it's showing that after Friday rains will move in. I made a stir fry with chicken strips, mixture of spinach and other greens, along with sweet peppers. Had some succotash and sliced tomatoes. Stay safe all of you in the bad weather areas.
