Is that something new that you bought to aid in your weight regime? Are you craving potatoes, rice, pasta, etc?

It must have been a good day for soup with so many having it -- I made turkey vegetable. :) Rhizo, there isn't much that a jalapeno can't make better! :) ravencajun, where are you that you see sun???!!! I miss it! Shirley, glad you're doing better.... it sounds a lot like what my sister in Mass. said she just went through. jasdip, I'll bet the sauce is great. :) Could have been worse... BF decided to sprinkle some garlic-salt in sauce once and the wide-mouth flap opened inadvertently and dumped at least 1/4 cup. :p

My day was busy. It was a pretty day here in Ohio, but getting warmer and more humid daily. When I look at far range, it's showing that after Friday rains will move in. I made a stir fry with chicken strips, mixture of spinach and other greens, along with sweet peppers. Had some succotash and sliced tomatoes. Stay safe all of you in the bad weather areas. Shirley

Wow everyone's meals sound great!!! Sue, it's a good thing you went prepared, with a book! How did Alyssa like her first day?? Shirley, I'm glad you eat soups and chili year round as well. We eat a hot meal pretty much every nite, even in the dead heat. Jim, I'd love to hear how you made your dinner. Ellen, I'd love to find our more about your key lime chicken. Hubby loves blueberries, but I don't like them at all. Every so often I'll make him some muffins. He eats them plain with brown sugar. Rhizo, another healthy, healthy meal. Are you cutting down on meat? I'd love to spend a week at your house and enjoy all the grains. I don't like barley at all, barley soup etc, but it was good in the brown rice tonite.
