My day was busy. It was a pretty day here in Ohio, but getting warmer and more humid daily. When I look at far range, it's showing that after Friday rains will move in.
I made a stir fry with chicken strips, mixture of spinach and other greens, along with sweet peppers. Had some succotash and sliced tomatoes.

Was up at the crack of dawn, we are done irrigating for this set, so I went out and picked up the dams, planted the garden (or part of it), weed whipped the yard and helped my nephews with a scouting project. Now we are settling in to watch the hockey game and enjoy a chicken fried steak, baked mac and cheese and steamed broccoli. Go Chicago, Go!!

I made a nice big salad with fresh spinach leaves, tomato, onion, cheese, raisins, deli roasted chicken, and sliced strawberries. The strawberries were nice and sweet this time! Also sautéed a small yellow summer squash. Love those!

Made shrimp kabobs and veggie kabobs, both marinated in shredded ginger root, mashed garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce. I used zucchini chunks, baby pattypans, onions, and green peppers. Served it over a mixed grains and rice pilaf.

Birthday Club went out to dinner tonight. We took the birthday "girl" to a Chinese restaurant . I ordered a whole fish with a sweet sauce and pine nuts. Sampled a little of everyones dinner. After dinner we took her to The Sweet Frog. A frozen yogurt place. We had a lovely evening.
